Art. Chris King parts in general, and their hubs in particular, are functional art. With a sexy shape and mirror smooth anodized finish, they’re certainly ogle-worthy. And they’re just as beautiful on the inside. They have a well deserved reputation for being as strong as they are light weight. Chris King hubs are easy to maintain, disassemble, rebuild, convert, and customize — you can do it all.Chris King found that designing the ISO disc hub (a.k.a. 6-bolt pattern) caused them to improve their hubs in general. In addition to lightening them in comparison to their older Universal Disc model, they increased the flange diameter, which makes it easier to thread the spokes and wheels can be stiffer due to the slightly shorter spokes. The Chris King ISO Disc Rear Hub is available with 32 or 36 spoke holes and comes in five colors — Black, Green, Navy, Red, and Silver. It comes equipped for use with a standard Quick Release skewer, but the QR specific inserts can be backed out of the one-piece axle ends if you want to use Chris King’s Fun Bolts (not included) for a more secure connection to your frame. It has a 135mm Over Locknut Dimension (OLD). The flange diameter is 57.6mm, and the center to flange measurements are 20.1mm on the right and 33.9mm on the left.
